Online library

With a focus on knowledge as a global public good, the project seeks to facilitate knowledge exchange to overcome the “North-South” divide by providing opportunities for mutual learning. The aim of this online library is to build a repository of documents to inform SDG implementation, and facilitate knowledge sharing between countries and regions to identify lessons learnt and best practices. Documents include:

  • Documents produced in the context of the THINK_SDGs initiative, including communication materials on the project, outcomes from the network’s meetings and consultations, and case studies.
  • Documents produced by policy research institutions that are part of the THINK_SDGs network, such as policy research outcomes and policy recommendations.
  • Third party documents as reference for SDG implementation and governance for health.

The library includes documents on a wide range of topics related to the health-related SDGs, with an emphasis on policy research on the political processes and institutional support needed to implement the SDGs. This includes the political determinants of health – with a focus on power dynamics across policy areas that affect health and wider issues of equity – and the role of different health stakeholders. As the SDGs link domestic policies to the global system in new ways, the thematic focus of THINK_SDGs is on systemic challenges that are intersectoral, globally interdependent, and beyond any single country’s capacity to solve.
